Living “La vida Loki“!  Thanks to the God of Lies and Mischief eagerness awaits are eyes as The Trickster achieves to reunite The Avengers in one of the most anticipated comic book movies of 2012.

Question is? How does an insignificant norse villain manages to assemble such a Marvelous cast? If the story goes true to its origin and you know your Avenger’s A, B, C’s; Loki plays out The Hulk into destroying a railroad track with higher expectations for hoping Thor would battle The Hulk as a revenge scheme to his older brother.

Since things don’t fall into Loki’s plans…Antman, Wasp and Iron Man see far beyond the tricksters well laid plans, battle Loki and resolve any hero misunderstandings among them. Antman states that the 5 of them work great together and Wasp suggest the former group should be named “Avengers”. End of story.

Seeing the former Avenger movies (The Hulk, Iron Man 1-2, Thor & Captain America) in their prior individual hero forms was way to cool. Don’t have to mention the excitement of seeing them all together in one huge flick! Even though no signs of Antman and Wasp are seen depicted or announced so far in the upcoming movie, maybe because they’re too tiny of getting noticed.

Now let’s face it… Is Loki such a magnificent villain that we need The Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Nick Fury, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Thor to battle this treacherous Asgardian God?

Rumor has it all over the web and I’m not taking Spidey web here, that possible contenders to give The Avengers a massive $150,000,000 movie bash headache could be the infamous Skrulls. Could be could be not, but assembling such an Avenger cast better give humanity a huge mayhem to justify S.H.I.E.LD hero contracts in deploying these underdogs into one party of 7 battle for earth.

Bottom line is that Skrulls or no Skrulls, boy do we owe Loki big time for assembling The Avengers back in September of 1963, thanks for your mind games Loki, no hard feelings Mr. Fury.

To make a long story short this is how the plot goes… King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) is on a blood quest for the ultimate annihilating weapon: Bow of Epirus

The Bullseye? Mount Olympus. Why? Cause killing and overthrowing Gods to become a greater God is always a human motivation. OMG! Is there any hope for mankind besides Hercules, Kratos or Spartacus?  Yes, and for all Gods that prefer not to interfere with mortal issues…

Zeus (Luke Evans) chooses the Minotaur slayer:  Theseus! (Henry Cavill) for the avenging job. Theseus then, with the guidance of Greek Oracle hottie: Phaedra (Freida Pinto) embarks into a “titanic” hitman squad journey for King Hyperion’s ugly head.

End of story.

In the Immortal movie, Greek Oracle fortuneteller: Phaedra aids Theseus in his avenging journey against King Hyperion.

In Greek Soap Opera Mythology Theseus is husband to Phaedra. Who knows what goes behind the scenes…

In the Immortal movie King Hyperion is another sick old bastard in search of heavenly powers.

In Greek Soap Opera Mythology Hyperion was one of the Twelve Titans.

Bottom line and what to expect?

If you dig 300 style art direction and mutilation blood fest then your eyeballs will feel in battle heaven with this movie.

and Bruce Willis and his crew of retired old timer killers have a green light for payback assassinations. RED, the graphic novel from writer Warren Ellis and artist Cully Hamner will open fire in multiplexes on October 15.

If there is something to be thankful these days of Hollywood idea shortage is for Graphic Novels. Former hits like Sin City, 300, Watchmen and Kick Ass have proven to be outstanding film proposals from the midst of poor Tinseltown remakes.

Not cheering for Bruce Willis of going rogue as black ops agent Frank Moses (Paul. Original name) are the guys at Langley. Why? To make things simple it’s another day at the office, another day to double cross a CIA agent, only this time Langley messed up with the wrongest dude: Frank Moses. So when the price is right for your head, and believe me everybody has a price, die hard Bruce Willis decides to recruit his old team of senior citizens to kick the ass of CIA goodbye.

Old timer assassins include an awesome stardom cast of Morgan Freeman “Mandela” as Joe Matheson, Helen “The Queen” Mirren plays senior sexy Victoria and John “Athos” Malkovich fits the wits of Marvin Boggs.

Don’t get me wrong, becoming old doesn’t mean you can’t pull the action trigger and action to these seniors means business. Add comedy quotes to the scene and you have an engaging and entertaining flick.

Said it once and would say it again, when it comes to comic book adaptations DC Comics is pulling the right stuff in making it truthful to the big screen. Since we’re not getting any younger RED is the right anti-aging treatment for regenerating your old movie eyes!

                          

Our favorite alien anti heroes are back and with an appetite for scoring some human skulls to their accounts. Using homo sapiens as game like Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins and Laurence Fishburne is what the bloody sport is all about. Now, what makes Predators so entertaining to watch?

1   When survival is a bliss. Expecting a group of bad ass mercenaries fighting and praying for not becoming the ultimate prey is a blast. Go Predators!

2   Oh boy it’s not our planet its theirs!  Forget any chance of hope and rescue as the meaningless humans fight quite a few galaxies far away from home.

3   Is that a Predator bird of prey?! Wait, is that a Predator hound dog?! Wow! New kinds of alien wild beasts enter the hunting party. Cool huh?

4   Dreadful Predators are back! This means new breeds of Predator slayers appear at the killzone with all the gore and blood that we used to love.

5   Morbid is never underrated especially when it comes to Predators as they play with tormented earthlings. Let’s see which human wins the Arnold Schwarzenegger trophy

Expect no Oscar nominees nor best movie in Cannes for this upcoming flick, however expect mucho macho hot stuff and tons of testosterone as The Expendables blast the big screen on August 13.

team up with the new gen ass kickers like Jason Statham, Jet Li, Randy Couture, Steve Austin and Terry Crews into a shockwave of your best mercenaries served Á la carte.

Betrayals, thrills and high octane action is the name of the game when this band of brothers fight as soldiers of fortune among the explosive plot. With out a doubt Stallone’s Expendables will be fun and entertaining to watch, but really expect no great drama acting. This movie is not for the cheesy nor the wimps at blood. The Expendables is all about calling your best buddies, have a boys night out, get to see the movie and then grab a few beers and say: “Dude, thank God for The Expendables, is what separates the men from Sex and The City“.

                          

Art comes in many ways, but the way Tranquili has captured and portrayed it, saves anybody’s day even though if it’s for Superman’s sake.

So the score is about to get even as Iron Man walks in for its second delivery. It’s the ultimate battle of superheroes: Stark Industries vs Wayne Enterprises, cockiness vs disguised, player vs detective, power machine vs vigilante… when the two moguls of Marvel and DC Comics go one to one as sequels tie up the match.

It’s no news that Chris Nolan’s The Dark Knight franchise has risen the bar for every  super hero dude that pretends to jump into the big screen in how things should be done when understanding the true brand character of a particular hero. Nolan’s work has settled the superhero benchmark for many directors, that become lost in translation when trying to top the record.

Spidey, Hulk 1, Fantastic Four, Superman among other underdogs have failed in doing so. However coincidences of fortune or not, Jon Favreau’s vision of Iron Man, has reached Dark Knight level. It seems that Favreau is the prodigy child for Marvel. Voila, at last! A director that understands the branding of a superhero and what makes him and his surroundings truthful for the fans.  As good as it gets, we are only weeks away of seeing if Iron Man 2 goes on par quality of Gotham’s Caped Crusader or if it only auto destructs in the attempt.

Thomas Jane (The Mist, Punisher) , Derek Mears and additional cast members from this summer’s 20th Century Fox release Predators, a Night Of The Living Dead reunion featuring eight original cast members, and a Nightmare on Elm Street series reunion with Heather Langenkamp and Mark Patton are among the initial line up of guests FM has invited for the first annual FMC. Got horror?

                          

On 2011 Captain Steve Rogers will receive the call of duty call for touring into the hatred tentacles of the Third Reich back to insane era of WW II. Yep, Nomad is in for a wild ride as he goes one on one with Hitler´s hordes not to mention his most challenging nemesis: The Red Skull. So the panorama for Joe Jhonston´s  First Avenger film seems quite clear; Steve Rogers becomes The Cap, The Cap disembarks in Naziland and all hell breaks loose against Der Red Skull and any of Hitler´s goons. That easy? Definitely not.

If The Cap blows up the blockbuster charts, and hope he does… Then sure thing Marvel will deploy more Captain America sequels into the view, summoning new villains and allies on the big screen. This said, one thing is clear, due to the super soldier serum, Nomad is one hell of a super soldier, but only human after all. The phrase when the going gets tough the tough gets going, will strike hard at the star center of Nomad´s shield! Besides Red Skull their are many other foes that want a piece of The Cap´s vibranium shield. Maybe will here about some of them in the First Avenger Film or maybe as stated above, if Nomad succeeds among the cinema fan troops probably some of these badasses will take over new sequels.  Until now we´ll have to settle for the wits of Der Red Skull, but in a distant future who knows, if some members of The Masters of Evil or Hydra will break in the defenses of Nomad´s shield. Only time in 2011´s WW II,  will tell.
