Some good news and some really bad news. The good news is that a Spider Man 4 movie is on the works for around May of 2011, the bad and crappy news is that the Spider Man Franchise doesn’t get rid of its biggest foes: Movie Director Sam Raimi and main acting role, Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider Man. One of my all time favorite super hero characters starts to walk again the thin line of appreciation, since the last lousy movie direction and wussy performance from Spider Man 3. It’s like if movie director and main actor have worked out a scheme called: How to ruin out a perfectly favorite Marvel character and keep on trying? Raimi’s filmmaking horror background is really terrorizing out “Spidey” fans. While Maguire’s unmanly acting is making Spider Man look out like a pussy hero!
So what’s next for “Spidey“? Peter Parker was a regular college dude; sometimes naive, sometimes out of cash, always out of time, but he was never such an ass. So far a start, they should stop on taking the character to a point that will not connect with fans. It’s not like if the “Arachnid” should take a Dark Knight plot road, but should keep it faithful to its essence and characters. There are countless times in which “Spidey” faced many villains at the same moment and never did a cowardly cry for help as he did in Spider Man 3!!! If there is something magical about “Spidey” is that he knows how to deal, mock, fight, piss off and evade all types of villains and get away with it, like a walk in the park. Well, gotta admit it, he had it hard a couple of times, but definitely, not like the last flick disappointment. Keep original “Webhead” traits, keep villains coming and keep them true to what they are.
Hype is starting to buzz out on which villains should appear in the “Webheads” fourth delivery. Besides Raimi and Maguire, finally we’ll get to see Lizard, probably a nice looking Black Cat will come into the view, Carnage, and rumored but not yet confirmed probably, probably Rhino. Marvel and Sony Pictures could revamp out fans by putting Raimi and Maguire out of “Spideys” scene for good.

Rhino is rumored?!
It was rumored when the Spidey 4 started, however Sony Pictures and Marvel have not said a word about it.
They are right now working on hiring the writers for the 4th sequel. Also Raimi, might pass from director to
producer.
Really?! You have a source on the inside? Oh and it won’t be Carnage in Spider-Man 4. Raimi doesn’t like Carnage, plus I think they’re saving him for Spider-Man 6 and/or the Venom spin off.
And they have hired James Vanderbilt to write 5 and 6. You know back during the week of June 8th SneakPeek.CA said that the villains will be the Lizard and Electro. I don’t know how credible they are though. But I guess you’re saying that there might be four villains in Spider-Man 4?
Lol, you mean Dennis Carradine? The guy who died in Spider-Man 1 is Rhino?! Um, no, Rhino is Alex O Hirn my friend.
Yeah, you are right, but that to is a scoop, because they don’t know either if Raimi will direct this one. And you are
right they have plans for a 5 and 6 parts. Plus for these sequels they might introduce some of the
classic Spidey villains, it all depend on what way Stan Lee will advise to go. Who knows, probably
will see some of the Sinister Six.
I love this hype Rocco, because it give us Spidey Fans which way Webhead should go. Lizard and
Electro would be cool. Or Electro will make a cameo appearance to prepare the road for the Sinister Six in 5 and 6 sequel.
Definitely Lizard will appear, although I don’t think Marvel will go on 4 villains for Spidey 4, but that my friend will
be the coolest Spidey ever, if they pull it off that way.
For know they are hiring Gary Ross, David Lindsay-Abaire, James Vanderbilt as screenwriters for S4.
So yes, Vanderbilt might go for S5 and 6
No, Variety has confirmed that Sony has hired James Vanderbilt to write 5 and 6. So that is confirmed. And it’s not up to Stan Lee. You are just guessing and coming up with theories. And it’s just Gary Ross rewriting Spider-Man 4 because Tobey Maguire didn’t like what David Lindsey Abaire wrote.
Nope, I’m not guessing and I’ll quote comingsoon.net on this one:
“Raimi has said that they are closing in on Spider-Man’s adversary or adversaries for the fourth pic. “All the characters or villains or villains, whatever we decide to do will be from Stan Lee’s creations or those that came after him,” he said.”
Vanderbilt was the initial S4 writer, and yes the recently hired Ross to the honor roll line up
Gary Ross is the only writer on Spider-Man 4 right now. Sam Raimi didn’t like James Vanderbilt’s script.
s3 was good, yet failed short. too much going on, and the company wanted him to put a character he felt uncomfortably doing. anyways, it hasnt been confirmed who will be the villians. black, “fans’ll like wat we chosed,” so thats good news. lizard is a villian, but who else is there?
As you mentioned to much is going on right now that is hard to say. S4 starts production in January 2010. New rumors are starting off that probably Raimi’s good buddy, Bruce Campbell might appear as Mysterio. Besides Lizard, a lot of fans out there are asking for Kraven and Black Cat, other for more Venom and the introduction of Carnage. If you ask me I’d be very pleased in approving any of the “Sinister Six”. Kraven and Mysterio could be a great choice, but classic Rhino could be a killer one too!
What I think should happen is at the very beginning it begins in a hospital, with a person fighting a blood disease that’s pretty much killing him. Then Dr. Connors tries the lizard thing, and becomes the Lizard. Then the symbiote remnants he has breeds and has the Carnage symbiote. There’s your two main villains. Go through most of the movie, do whatever the writers want with the main story line, then closer to the end, the guy in the hospital gets released, no longer ill, but still has the disease, and finds his way too Dr. Connors lab, and tries too cure his blood disease with vampire bats and electroshock therapy. But however messes up and becomes Morbius. When all this is going on, Roderick Kingsley finds his way into Norman Osborn’s Green Goblin lab, learns all the technology, and becomes the HobGoblin, your two villains for Spiderman 5.
I totally agree with you and your insights rock, specially the ones about Venom and Carnage, that would be totally cool!
If studios, birdbrained Raimi and producers could bring S4 and S5 more oriented to true fans and what Webhead really is,
then Spidey could revamp into the biggest superhero movie ever!
