Please Marvel, save the Queen!

For the Queen's Crown, who shall save the day, Captain Britain or Union Jack?

For the Queen's Crown, who shall save the day, Captain Britain or Union Jack?

When the famous nursery rhyme: “London Bridge is Falling Down” inspires the tune of a psycho villain, who should show up to save England’s day?  Forget Bond, forget Dr. Who, inclusive forget England’s secret agent Avengers.  When it comes to making it up for the British, Marvel has two superhero jewels ready to save England’s pride and honor like a walk in the park: Captain Britain and Union Jack.

Word is, and nothing official, that Marvel has plans to develop a Captain Britain Movie story. On the other hand with Hasbro’s new 3.75″ action figures Union Jack rises on the spot to be part of the officially launched line-up.  When you have two super cool characters like Captain Britain and Union Jack, question is: who of these heroes would you propose to defend the Queen’s Crown in case of an upcoming movie? This is no English Premier superhero rivalry, but before you cast your call, let’s contribute to the web buzz by checking out some of these British superhero facts:

Captain Britain: By the name of Brian Braddock, this Brit hero is a skilled physicist and acrobat. He was born in Braddock Manor, England and has a well educated study background, achieving a PhD degree in Physics from Thames University. Let’s talk about power… Captain Britain can easily fly as Thor and has enhanced superhuman strength, has no difficulty in lifting up a 60 ton battle tank and has magical powers on par like Dr. Strange. His Enlgand flag like costume, has the ability to store energy and therefore enhance reflexes, stamina and strength to a superhero level.

Union Jack: With a study in art background, this British hot shot responds to the name of James Montgomery. Union Jack is to the Brits as Captain America is to the Americans. Unlike Captain Britain’s powers, Union Jack is a skilled hand-to-hand fighter as well as a deadly marksman that even Deadpool might envy. When it comes to warfare firearms, explosives and anti-terrorist tactics, is on par in knowledge if not a little more than Punisher. Union Jack is like a urban Van Helsing, has a bullet proof vest and an amazing record in fighting off vampires.

So if Scotland Yard puts a nice bounty call on England’s biggest villains, which side would you choose if Marvel grants us the wish of a British brawl superhero movie?
