Tron Legacy Movie: It’s not a game anymore!

Upgraded 2.0 Light Cycle

Upgraded 2.0 Light Cycle on the loose for survival

For those of you who lived and witness in 1982 how Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” sold over 20 millon albums, this post will sound like a billboard hit to your ears. Now, for those of you who came way after 1982, prepare yourself for a cyber ride, because the Tron Movie Legacy is speeding up for next year!

So what’s Tron Legacy like if you are not familiar at all with Tron? Blend in Gladiator, The Matrix and a lot of neon arcade lasers into your PC’s mad circuit board and what you get is Tron.  In other words picture this… Imagine your father is shipwrecked inside a computer, that’s right, he’s been living inside, and trapped into a computer for 25 years! Then you as a techie by the name of Sam Flynn, gets pulled into the computer’s killer system as a nano warrior, just to realize that you’re on your own to face a giant out of control master program, who’s main goal is to delete you and your father for good!

Compared to the original 1982 Tron movie, the upcoming 2010 Disney’s Tron Legacy film, comes with a darker plot, upgraded top to the notch cool light cycles, and bloodier gladiator type games, into a system that the Flynns: Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn father and Garret Hedlund as Sam Flynn son, attempt to escape and overcome in a death to the race fighting system.

The ferocious Lycan leader, Lucian from Underworld 3: Michael Sheen, will be the villain in charge of constantly crashing out the system for the Flynns. With out any doubt, Tron Legacy looks like a way more better adaptation that will keep us sucked into our seats when it hits movie theaters next year.  “End of line”!
