It makes the Snake Eyes character more intriguing and interesting, but the fact that in the movie he doesn't talk, because he took a silence oath is wrong. And I totally agree upon you about the closing Commander line, but for Christ sake it was the perfect ending opportunity either to show the chrome looking helmet or better yet, if he had his face screwed, the blue hood would of been the cheery in the ice cream topping. The movie's official novel had a different ending. I won't spoil it for you, but it was slightly a little more glamorous for the few remaining members of Cobra. Not seeing the true Cobra Commander as portrayed in the action figures, cartoon series and Marvel Comics was my biggest disappointment. And always the changing of the real plot is not cool. Keeping to the basics is something that won't harm any film and sure thing make every fan happy. I will see your review man. That's the good thing of this, two fans who can differ, but come together in respect as one. I hear everything you are saying and I understand your frustration, but I have seen G.I. Joe 3x now and I am looking towards, with much anticipation, to its eventual Blu-ray release. It was everything it needed to be, in my opinion, a grown up story line, much like they did for The Transformers film. Of course, the movie had its faults at times, but overall it was a fun filled ride I look forward to taking again very soon!
