Prince of Persia will be lost in time!

A Prince has "no time to loose"

A Prince has "no time to loose"

So it seems that in May 28 of 2010, Ubisoft in junction with Jerry Bruckheimer Films want to become kings of the box office by crowning their very own, Prince of Persia into a movie. The famous computer game created back in 1989 by Jordan Mechner, stood the test of time and now lines up for another video game who’s going to see the light for it’s own movie, if not a trilogy.

For those of us fan and hardcore gamers of the Prince of Persia Franchise, look’s like this game adaptation will be “again”,  another failed attempt that will make us mad by wasting out our time. Why? Simple… If the movie is called Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time then why the heck don’t the producers and movie director stick to the original video game plot??? I hear Gemma Arterton for Tamina, but where’s the original and gorgeous princess Farah? No offense Gema, you’re hot!  I hear Ben Kingsley for Nizam, when clearly in the game the whole business was the Prince racing against time to deal with the Vizier’s evil plans, not Nizam!

It’s always the same god dam old story with the movie industry: Changing the story by trying to tell and pull stuff of the original 1989 game with a mixture of the famous 2003 Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
I really don’t get it. The only reason I find they do this… Is for that people who had never dealt with the game, get to understand a hero that probably they heard of, but never played it. This is very disappointing and disrespectful to true Prince of Persia video gamer fans. If not, ask the fans of Dragon Ball Evolution, who did they go?
