On 2010 we’ll enjoy a shot of Venom!

Venom: A vicious spider from another planet

Venom: A vicious "alien spider" from another planet

Packed with “Alien” like teeth, a brute super strength out of this world, and a big long tongue that former Kiss Gene “The Demon” Simmons would envy, it seems that Spider Man’s evil par: Venom is going to strike the big screen somewhere around 2010!  Venom, made its first movie appearance back in 2006 in Spider Man 3 and truly, it was the only good dam thing about that movie, where Tobey Maguire makes a “pussy” out of Spider Man.  According to www.aceshowbiz.com Venom’s symbiotic future will reside in the hands of screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. What we don’t know yet is if Topher Grace, from Spider Man 3 will play Eddie Brock, the symbiote human host for Venom.  So far details on the Venom movie are really kept dead secret by Sony Pictures and Marvel. Doesn’t matter… Sure thing we’ll get to know more of it, in a near future. What’s cool and disruptive about Venom hitting the big screen, is that as I recall it’s one of the first times ever, that a super villain gets his own movie.  Specially about one of Spider Man’s most deadly foes.  So, if Venom is coming to town, the question here is: Who will he want to dose up with his “venom” shots?  Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Will it be your friendly neighborhood Spider Man? We’ll see what the screenwriters and Marvel genius; Stan Lee come up to, for the Venom rush that we all would love to carry in our blood.

A Symbiote fest out in the streets wouldn't hurt anybody. Would it?

I have always seen venom, as a massive more than life kind of character, I mean he is made out of goo, so his body does not have to be anatomically correct, in fact the symbiote should always look to make itself adopt a more intimidating form.
I thought that the spiderman 3 venom lacked this.
I hope that this upcoming VENOM is a more massive, intimidating, fully CG creature.

Totaly agree with Frodo. As well as he hopes, I wish director and producer don’t blow this up not only by seeing a poor CG creature, but a “gruesome” and “monstrous” one!
