Wolverine Movie: Claws don’t have enough grip for its Origin

Ok, the past movie based upon the origin of Weapon X, was like seeing “Casablanca”tailored out for Marvel. If it’s true that the movie is faithful to Wolverine’s origin, there is still something missing in it. To my taste, plot is way to slow and weak for a formidable bad tempered hero, as it is for the Wolverine.  Now don’t get me wrong, Hugh Jackman is one of the greatest casting calls that has ever been made for a Marvel movie. Jackman’s, performance is awesome, as well as the appearance of Liev Schreiber, who does the bad ass Sabretooth. Cheers for the Casting Director! Where the weakness resides is where the plot seems to fail.  The story should’ve been a battle to death between Wolverine and Sabretooth, not against a cool character as the “Merc with a Mouth“: Deadpool, who appears at the beginning of the movie and at the end of it. Come on! It’s not a consistent rivalry as it is with Sabretooth. The movie has ups and downs of action, mixed up with a Humphrey Bogart romance style between Logan and Kayla Silverfox.  It’s like seeing Wolverine ready to unleash hell and suddenly stopped by a cheesy situation.  Movie is still ok, but could’ve been a killer if both claws; Wolverine’s and Sabretooth’s would’ve clashed non stop into the end.
